ANTARCTIC SHAGS IN BLIZZARD.
Oil on board. Size 48x83cm.
Top bird is too central, so I'm going to drop it down a bit and move it slightly further left.
I also need to push the water at the top of the painting right into the distance.
Better, but now the left hand bird is too big......need a few more birds?
Phew....final design, six birds much better than four.
This is just the reason why I paint on a board and always leave plenty of margin. I can expand the design in any direction I like.
